Huon TrailThe 'Huon Trail' begins south of Hobart. It takes you through the Huon Valley, D'Entrecasteaux Channel & Bruny Island - a region of waterways & wilderness; art, craft & heritage; apple blossom and vineyards; farmers, foresters and fishermen. Follow the Huon Trail stopping at the sign posts along the way. Look for the sea eagle and the hand-carved celery top pine-framed signs at 24 locations in the region. |

Roaring Forties KayakingGet some exercise and explore the scenic coves of the nearby D'Entrecasteaux Channel. After some basic instruction the group will make the short crossing to Bruny Island by Kayak! Once safely on the other side of the Channel we visit one of Tasmania's many Atlantic Salmon farms before landing on a small island for a lazy lunch. When the afternoon breeze beckons, we commence our return, surfing the small waves back to Kettering. The Roarting Forties sea kayaking facility is only a few minutes drive from Tulendena. |

Also available are a large range of craft produced by the skilled crafts people of the region.
